Mark is a 1991 graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Economics, and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996. He joined Tidewater in 1996 as a Commercial Representative in the Company's Southeast Asian Operations, based in Singapore. Mark then held subsequent management positions in the Company's Mexico and Brazil operations, before being promoted in 2001 to Area Manager in charge of Company operations in Trinidad.

Thereafter, he held similar Area Manager positions in Venezuela, Brazil, and Southeast Asia. In 2009, he was promoted to the position of Regional Manager for Tidewater's business activities in Europe and Africa, and in 2011, he was promoted to Vice President - Operations, with continued supervisory responsibilities over Company operations in the Europe and Africa region.

Mark is also formerly a licensed Master of commercial passenger vessels. He is currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland, where he lives with his wife, Krista, and their three children.
