Ernest McCrary is the editor & publisher of the special projects group at Institutional Investor magazine, responsible for the content and sales of all sponsored country and industry sector reports worldwide. This group represents a major portion of the magazine's global revenue. I. I. is part of the London-based Euromoney Institutional Investor plc publishing and conference group.

Previously he was Editor of Global Finance magazine, an Italian-owned publication based in New York City. He travels extensively on assignment and has a wide range of business, banking and media contacts throughout the world.

For 11 years he was the bureau chief in South America for Business Week and the McGraw-Hill publications, later establishing a Sao Paulo-based newsletter publishing and business conference group. His firm also represented McGraw-Hill and other international media companies for advertising sales in Latin America for 10 years.

He studied Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University in Raleigh and is a Journalism graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
