Loukas Papazoglou

Loukas Papazoglou served as the Special Secretary for Privatisations since 2004.
In this capacity, he supervised several privatization transactions including the I.P.O. of the Postal Savings Bank, the private placement (A.O.) of the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), the secondary offering of OPAP and the private placement (A.O.) of the National Bank of Greece.
He holds an MSc in International Financial Markets from the University of Reading and he is a Business Administration graduate from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
He has long working experience as a business consultant specialized in finance issues and has taken up executive managerial positions in private enterprises. He has also assumed teaching positions on derivatives and risk management at the Athens Technological Institute (TEI of Athens).
His area of expertise covers subjects related to the implementation of International Accounting Standards, Internal Audit and International Financial Markets.
During his graduate years he was elected Chairman of the Student Union Body of AUEB and Vice Chairman of the European Democrat Students Body.
Loukas Papazoglou is fluent in English and French.
