Tom Kyriakopoulos is a Partner at Machas & Partners and heads the Commercial, Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group of the firm, concentrating heavily on Greek real estate assets. Tom, a Greek-Canadian, is a graduate from the law school of the University of Athens. He holds an MBA from the University of Nottingham and has post graduate studies in taxation at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

He has worked on all types of transactions including privatizations and large-scale real estate projects, one of the most emblematic being his direct involvement in the sale of the Hellinikon Project, with an overall investment budget of about €10bn. Machas & Partners was the head and sole legal advisor to the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF).
Having worked extensively in London assisting clients on all aspects of their cross-border investments and transactions, Tom is a qualified solicitor with the Solicitor Regulatory Authority of England and Wales. Moreover, Tom has in-depth knowledge of the transition economies of Southeast Europe.
