Faisel Khan is a Managing Director at Citi Research, covering the North American oil, natural gas, refining, pipeline and master limited partnership industries. Faisel was ranked No. 1 for 2015, 2014 and 2011, No. 2 for 2012, 2010, 2008 and 2007 and No. 3 for 2013 in the Institutional Investor Survey in the Natural Gas Sector. He received First Place in the 2012 Greenwich Associate Polls. He was the No. 1 stock picker for either the multi-utilities and/or gas utilities since 2010, according to the Financial Times. Prior to joining Citi in February 2005, he worked for six years at Credit Suisse First Boston, first in investment banking and later as an equity research analyst following the integrated pipeline, merchant power and gas distribution industries. Faisel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a BS in engineering and a BA in economics, with minors in mathematics and actuarial mathematics. He is a CFA charter holder. Faisel is a member of the International Advisory Council for the International Crisis Group (ICG) and has also given expert testimony to the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
