Lars Eirik Nicolaisen, a partner with the company, has been with Rystad Energy since 2008 and has headed up the New York Office for the past two years. His client base includes private equity and other investors in oil and gas. Prior to joining Rystad Energy, Lars Eirik graduated with a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He also participated as a founding member in an oilfield service technology startup, addressing well intervention applications. His areas of expertise includes macro topics, rig- and well construction markets, and oilfield service due diligence. Lars Eirik manages the development of RigCube, Rystad Energy's rig supply/demand model. He has been key speaker at conferences on a variety of topics from rig market analysis to global macro.
