ANGELA T. RICHARDS, Partner, Houston and New York Offices. Angela's practice focuses on the federal income taxation of corporations, partnerships (including master limited partnerships) and limited liability companies. Angela advises clients on various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, and restructurings. Angela recently represented the underwriters in connection with a $190 million initial public offering of a wholesale fuel distribution master limited partnership. She also recently represented a Canadian natural gas processing and marketing company in a $3.1 billion merger with an oil and natural gas pipeline company, forming one of Canada's largest publicly traded energy-infrastructure companies. Angela received her J.D. in 2004, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2000 from The University of Texas.
