Douglas Mavrinac
Equity Research Analyst, Jefferies & Company
Douglas Mavrinac is a Senior Equity Research Analyst leading the firm's
Maritime Equity Research group. He joined the firm in May 2003 and
currently focuses on shipping companies that transport crude oil, refined
petroleum products, LNG, and dry bulk commodities. Prior to joining
Jefferies, Mr. Mavrinac worked nine years in the energy industry most
recently as a commodity analyst in the Strategic Market Analysis group at
Dynegy, and prior to that as a financial analyst in the Exploration and
Production group at the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies. Mr. Mavrinac
received his MBA from Tulane University and a BS in Finance from Louisiana
State University.
