Jeremy Penn
Chief Executive, The Baltic Exchange
Born 1959 in the UK, Jeremy Penn was educated at Warwick School, at Corpus Christi College, Oxford (MA 1981) and (1999) the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School. He joined Reuters (1981), and specialised in technology and marketing related to financial information. Over a period of 20 years he lived and worked in Zimbabwe, Morocco, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and the USA, as well as the UK. He was Managing Director of Reuters Asia and a member of Reuters Executive Committee and was appointed to succeed as Chief Executive of the Baltic Exchange in October 2003.
