Joep Gorgels Head of Transportation West-Europe ABN AMRO Joep has a the responsibility for shipping clients in West - Europe. Joep joined Fortis in 2000 as started working in the Telcoms and Media finance group after a year of various job rotations within the bank. Before that he worked for three years as a process engineer within Fluor (Daniel) in The Netherlands and the UK. In 2003, Joep joined the shipping desk in Rotterdam and has worked there since in various roles. Since 2006 he manages the portfolio (US$ 4 bln) and clients (>45) and the growth of the team (15 FTE's) responsible for West-Europe. Joep is a graduate from the Technical University of Delft in Chemical Engineering and completed the General Management Program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2007 and 2008. |
