George Patras manages large and small cap accounts for Bank of America Merrill Lynch - European Equity Sales in New York.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in October 2007, Patras headed up NBG's Greek Equities Institutional Sales desk in the US which he set up in 2000.
Patras enjoys a diverse international background having worked as an investment analyst in Greece, the Balkans and China for Diageo, Alpha Bank and China Cement Corp.
Patras holds a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelors degree from New York University. He was born in New York while his roots come from northern Greece.
