Mr. Tigay is a Managing Director of Rhône Capital, which he joined 2007. Rhône, established in 1996, is a global private equity firm with a focus on investments in market leading businesses with a pan-European or transatlantic presence and expansion prospects. Rhône has offices in London and New York and currently holds investments in a diversified portfolio of companies including investments in the chemicals, consumer products, food, industrial, materials, mining, and shipping industries.

Previously, he was a Managing Director of Lazard Frères, which he joined in 1989, and where he was a founding member of Lazard Capital Partners, a private equity fund managing partner capital.

Mr. Tigay presently serves on the boards of directors of Eden Springs, Euromar, GYP, Orion Engineered Carbons and S&B Industrial Minerals. He received a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics, from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
