Mr. Van der Waag is a Director in the Infrastructure Investment Banking Group, focusing primarily on the energy & shipping sectors.
Mr. Van der Waag joined Janney in 2011 and has 10 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Janney, Mr. Van der Waag was an Associate in Deutsche Bank's Global Investment Banking division in London where he worked on a number of cross border M&A and capital markets transactions. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Van der Waag spent three years as an Analyst with The Blackstone Group in New York.
Mr. Van der Waag received an M.B.A. from Georgetown University. He received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Georgetown University.
