Mr. Stavros Gyftakis is the Chief Financial Officer of Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp., an international shipping company publicly listed in the NASDAQ Capital markets (NASDAQ: SHIP) and specializing in the Capesize dry bulk sector.
 
Stavros has more than 15 years of experience in senior positions in the shipping finance industry. He joined Seanergy in October 2017 as the Company' s Finance Director and was appointed CFO in October 2018. Through his time with Seanergy, Stavros has been instrumental in the Company' s capital raising, restructuring, debt financing and refinancing activities. Prior to joining Seanergy, he was a Senior Vice President at DVB Bank SE Greek shipping finance desk with an active role in the origination, structuring and restructuring of numerous shipping finance transactions. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a MSc in Business Mathematics awarded with Honors, from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance, awarded with Distinction, from Bayes Business School (formerly known as Cass Business School) of City University in London.
