Bing Chen is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of Atlas Corp. He also serves as the President and Chairman of the Board of Seaspan Corporation. Mr. Chen is a seasoned corporate executive with more than 25 years of global executive experience in banking, asset management, logistics, energy and commodities across the APAC, EU and North America regions. Prior to Atlas Corp. and Seaspan, Mr. Chen served as Chief Executive Officer of a top EU investment bank, leading the growth and expansion strategy in China. Mr. Chen has also served as Director and General Manager for a Swiss based top global commodity trading institution, responsible for the P&L of domestic and international commodity trading. Within APAC, he led the buildup of the Greater China investment banking practice at an American boutique investment bank as Managing Director and Head of Asia Financial Services. Mr. Chen worked ten years in the EU as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at various European industrial leasing and aircraft chartering business. In North America, he held the position of Director of Corporate Strategy at a major global investment bank in New York. Mr. Chen is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and received a B.S. (Magna Cum Laude and Honors) in Accountancy from Bernard Baruch College and MBA (Honors) from Columbia Business School.
