CONTRACTED CEO
Herman Billung

Mr. Herman Billung assumed the role as CEO in 2020 Bulkers 1 February 2022 and subsequently was contracted as the CEO of Himalaya Shipping.

Mr. Billung has extensive experience in shipping, and has previously held a number of senior roles within chartering and management.

This includes chartering and MD at T. Klaveness Group 1998-2005, MD Frapaco Shipping, CEO Golden Ocean Management 2005 - 2016, Songa Bulk and most recently SVP in Star Bulk 2018 - 2022.

Mr. Billung has his education from the Royal Norwegian Navy, and Norwegian Business School.

He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Norway.
