Eric Van Nostrand is a Senior Advisor for Russia/Ukraine at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Economic Policy. He conducts economic analysis of policies related to the war in Ukraine with a focus on global energy markets and macroeconomic analysis. Prior to joining the Treasury Department, Eric led sustainable investment research and BlackRock and served as an economist and advisor at the White House Council of Economic Advisors. He holds a law degree from Yale Law School and degrees in economics and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
