Mr. Nicholas Armaos is the Chief Financial Officer of Lavinia Corporation/Laskaridis Shipping Co Ltd, an international owner and operator of dry bulk carriers, refrigerated cargo carriers and oil/chemical tankers.

Nicholas has more than 23 years of experience in CFO positions in the shipping industry, out of which 15 years with Lavinia Group. He has been leading in those years from the borrower’s side several ship financing and refinancing transactions aggregating more than one billion US dollars. Prior to joining the shipping industry, he had been working as CFO in a listed Greek construction group for 3 years and as corporate relationship manager in a major international bank for 7 years.  

He holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the French IFP/ENSPM Grande Ecole and two master’s degrees in Energy Economics and International Finance from Paris-Sorbonne and Paris-Dauphine Universities.
