Michael is based in London and Athens and focuses on origination, execution and loan monitoring at Ascension. Michael has over 5 years’ experience in ship finance and has been involved in a wide variety of transactions across differing structures including mezzanine finance, sale and leasebacks, and syndicated debt.
 
Prior to joining Ascension, Michael worked as a solicitor at Stephenson Harwood and HFW where his practice focused on advising alternative investors in the maritime sector. During this time, Michael also spent six months on secondment with Fleetscape Capital.
