Mr Xenofon Damalas, CFA is head of Group Investor Relations for Piraeus Financial Holdings. He is responsible to develop the investor relations strategy, disseminate the corporate messaging of Piraeus Group to external stakeholders and targets the attraction and engagement of equity and debt investors. He also oversees and manages quarterly earnings publications and management conference calls, while he is responsible for the Credit Ratings Relations. In his role, Mr Damalas participates in various strategic cross-functional projects of the Group, e.g. share capital increases, debt issuance and liability management, transformation projects, etc. Prior to his current position, Mr Damalas was the Head of Investment Strategy of Piraeus Bank, responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation, quantitative analysis and security selection. Before that, he held the position of Head of Investment Services at Wealth Management of CPB Bank (ex Marfin Egnatia Bank). Mr Damalas earned an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Patras. He is CFA charterholder.
