His recent publications include “EMEA Emerging Market Borrowing As The Cycle Turns,” “Triangles Of Vulnerability: Emerging Market Sovereigns' Fiscal And External Positions,” “EMEA Emerging Markets Sovereign Rating Trends 2024: Stabilizing Ahead Of A Year At The Polls.” In the past he has been responsible for analytical coverage of Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Turkiye. Before working for Standard & Poor’s, Frank was a macroeconomic analyst focusing on Europe for Fortress, a New York based hedge fund. His earlier work experience included over eight years as an analyst focused on Russia, Eastern Europe, and Turkey for Ideaglobal in London. Frank Gill holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and an M.I.M. from the American Graduate School of International Management.
