Ken Hoexter is a managing director in US Equity Research covering Airfreight & Surface Transportation and Shipping (marine transportation). He is co-head of the Industrial & Basic Materials sectors and vice-chairman of the US1 Committee. Regular Research reports include: weekly Transport Tracker and bi-weekly Truck Shipper Survey. In the Institutional Investor All-America Research Poll, he was double-ranked for the 8th time in 2023, attaining the #2 position in Airfreight & Surface Transportation and #3 position in Shipping (marine transportation).  He has been ranked 29 times: 18x in Transportation, 8x in Shipping, and 3x in CLECs/Telecom. Hoexter has previously been ranked as the #1 analyst in ii magazine, and as #1 stock picker by Financial Times/Starmine in both the Airfreight & Logistics and Railroad sectors. In 2009, Forbes/Zacks ranked him as one of the Dazzling Dozen, as the ninth-ranked analyst in picking stocks and earnings estimates over the past three years relative to all sectors (2,700 analysts surveyed). In the Wall Street Journal's Best on the Street 2000 Analyst Survey, Hoexter was honored as a Home Run Hitter, one of seven analysts on Wall Street who were selected as best on the Street in stock picking. Previously, he was at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. Hoexter has a BS in Finance and Marketing, with a minor in Government from Lehigh University. He is based in New York.
