Alexis Kontis is the Head of Growth in Deloitte Greece, specializing in Strategy and Operations with over 25 years of work experience. He started his career in Andersen Consulting in 1996, before joining Deloitte in the Strategy Consulting team and then the Group Internal Audit Division of the Piraeus Bank Group. Since 2015 he rejoined Deloitte and he is actively involved amongst others, in the business development effort both at client and industry level.
He specializes in Corporate Strategy and Business Planning, Digital Transformation, Operational Excellence, Innovation as well as Internal Audit. He possesses significant consulting experience in various sectors of the economy, namely banking, shipping, tourism, consumer products, retail trade and construction, having served numerous organisations.
He holds a M.B.A. from the University of Leuven, Belgium and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of London. He has also attended several educational programs from Harvard (Leadership Essentials).
