Michalis Livanos is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Drydel Shipping Inc., a company involved in the maritime shipping industry. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Athens University, a Master's in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School at City University of London, and an MBA from Cardiff Business School, Wales.

Livanos started his career in the energy sector as an FFA (Forward Freight Agreement) trader at Enron Europe Limited, which was one of the early roles that exposed him to the financial intricacies of the shipping industry. He then transitioned into ship finance, working as an Associate Director at the London branch of The Bank of Nova Scotia's Ship Finance desk. Over the years, he has held various high-level roles in private and public shipping companies, including positions as CFO, Head of Treasury, and General Manager.

With more than 23 years of experience, Livanos has been deeply involved in a wide range of shipping-related projects. His expertise extends to ship management, acquisitions, vessel financing, and sales, reflecting his extensive knowledge of the shipping sector.
