Metaxia Psalti is the Chief Operating Officer of Neda Maritime Agency Co. Ltd., an independent ship management company with a fleet of large tankers and bulk carriers, known for its commitment to quality and reliability. The company’s heritage dates back to the late 19th century.
With a career in shipping that began in 1989, Metaxia has progressed through all ranks in commercial operations. She joined Neda Maritime in 2002 as an Operator, was later appointed Operations Director, and has been serving as COO since May 2018.
She holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Law (with Distinction) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. She currently serves as Vice Chair of INTERCARGO, Chair of the INTERTANKO Commercial & Markets Committee, Council Member of INTERTANKO, Vice Chair of the INTERTANKO Hellenic Panel, and Chair of the INTERCARGO Quality Panel. She is also an active member of WISTA Hellas and the Propeller Club.
