Cesar Ramirez is an Executive Director and Global Head of Market Classification at MSCI. In this role, he leads the MSCI Global Market Classification and Accessibility Reviews, overseeing the assessment and classification of more than 86 equity markets worldwide.
Cesar joined MSCI in 2011, starting as a member of the Client Coverage organization based in Monterrey, Mexico. During this time, he served as the dedicated Specialist for top-tier clients and team lead for the Index Client Service team, where he delivered strategic insights and exceptional client support.
Before joining MSCI, Cesar worked at Deloitte as a Transfer Pricing Consultant, providing advisory services to multinational corporations. Earlier in his career, he collaborated with RVox, a Mexican marketing firm, in their Research department, where he contributed to data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Cesar holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Aalto University School of Business in Helsinki, Finland, and a BSc in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
