Emanuele (Manu) Ravano, co-CEO Emanuele (Manu) Ravano is the co-CEO of IFCHOR GALBRAITHS (IG), a merger that brings together two historic shipbroking companies: the dry-bulk oriented IFCHOR and the tanker and sale-and-purchase specialist Galbraiths. The company is head-quartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, and operates more than 22 offices worldwide with over 340 employees. IG aims to provide innovative, competitive and global brokerage services through sophisticated and personalized advisory. With the diversification of the company's offerings, IG today is very active in areas such as offshore & marine renewable services, gas projects, sustainability services and maritime financing advisory. The company also invests in areas such as digitalization and research. As a second-generation member of the founding family of IFCHOR, Manu has over 20 years of experience in the shipping industry. He's known to be a multi-faceted senior shipping executive with a strong commitment to promoting sustainable shipping practices. Manu likes to drive change and diversification across the IG organization. On a day-to-day basis, Manu remains actively involved as a competitive chartering and S&P broker, with a particular focus on the dry-bulk Capesize segment. Manu graduated from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva with a bachelor's degree in International Relations. He also attended Harvard University, where he earned a minor degree in Finance.
