Simon leads the technical development of VVA’s data driven products.

An experienced Data Scientist with over 15 years in industry, he designs the automated processes which generate the accurate and timely information which we provide to our clients.  Liaising closely with our subject matter experts, analytical, commercial and technical teams to ensure that our data, processes and products and are aligned with industry definitions and practices and that our products meet the needs of our clients.  

Simon joined VesselsValue in 2021, and has led the development and enhancement of a wide range of all our data driven products. Possessing a broad array of industry experience having previously worked in Forensics, Policing, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, Business Process Outsourcing and Financial Services Simon is able to quickly grasp concepts and cross-pollinate practices between industry sectors.

Simon holds a BSc in Human Psychology, specializing in research methods and statistics, from the University of Aston.  

Beyond Data Science, Simon enjoys outdoor pursuits and spending time with his young family.  Simon is a former warranted Police Officer having served with the Metropolitan Police in London.
