Mr. Mike Salthouse Head of External Affairs NorthStandard Mike Salthouse is Head of External Affairs at NorthStandard P&I. He is a director of Maritime London, a member of the Royal United Services Institute UK Sanctions Strategy and Implementation Taskforce and a former chair of the International Group of P&I Sanctions Committee. A qualified solicitor, Mike read law at Manchester University before working at London solicitors Norton Rose. He moved to North of England in 1992, opened the club’s Greek office in 2000 and prior to the merger with the Standard P&I in 2022 led the North’s P&I Claims Team. Following the merger, he took up his current position as Head of External Affairs in which role he is responsible for the club’s public affairs programme.
