Matt is a Vice President in the ETF Capital Markets Group at State Street Global Advisors. Based in New York, he is a Senior ETF Capital Markets Specialist responsible for Business Development with ETF market makers, analyzing sell-side trading trends, and providing commentary on US markets and ETF trading activity.
Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors, Matt spent the first fifteen years of his career on the sell side with several different market making firms. Most recently, Matt was a News Analyst at Citadel Securities, where he worked with the firm’s electronic and NYSE based market making teams. Prior to Citadel, Matt worked at KCG (formerly Knight Capital Group) as a News Analyst and at Kellogg Capital Markets, where he began his career as Head Trader of the Firm’s Special Situations Group before transitioning to Director of ETF Issuer Relations.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 55 and 63 licenses.
