Manolis Sigalas is the Senior Vice President & Managing Director for Europe. He joined Hill International in London in 2005 and since then has led significant project management and advisory services appointments internationally. He was promoted to Managing Director of Southern Europe in April of 2018 and, since then, has led the region’s organic growth and evolution into a winning team and a profitable operational platform for Hill within Europe. Specifically, by establishing and solidifying operations in new countries and market segments; wining and delivering a distinctive mix of major infrastructure, energy and building projects; nurturing client relationships; creating strategic alliances with reputable industry partners; attracting and retaining talent and, overall, emerging SE as the fastest growing region in terms of both CFR and Operating Profit within Europe. Notably, in 2021 Southern Europe accounted for 60% of the total European sales and has achieved to develop an impressive backlog that amounts to a 4x multiple of the annual CFR. A ‘Hill-man’ for the last 17 years, Manolis amalgamates also a solid operational background in Hill offered services, including on Program & Project Management, Advisory Services, Independent Engineer and Technical Assistance. He currently oversees operations responsible for the delivery of a CapEx portfolio in excess of $3.0Bn and maintains an active operational role supporting our clients and teams on major capital projects. Furthermore, he has been the lead Technical Advisor on several asset acquisition or project finance transactions internationally working for investment funds or lenders. He holds the Degree of Civil Engineer from NTUA and a Master in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
