Konstantinos is ERMA FIRST Group Co-founder and holds the position of Managing Director of ERMA FIRST S.A. since 2009. With a process engineering background, he is heavily involved in the development of marine equipment which provides solutions to maritime environmental challenges.
Leading various acquisitions for ERMA FIRST Group both in Greece and internationally he is also acting as METIS Cybersecurity Board Vice President and RWO GmbH Managing Director.
One of his greatest achievements is the development of ERMA FIRST Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) and its Type Approval Certification from the USCG and also to make ERMA FIRST one of the top-three Ballast Water Treatment manufacturers globally.
He is an active member of the Ballast Equipment Manufacturers Association (BEMA) Technical Committee and a frequent member of the Greek delegation at the MEPC IMO Committee.
 Currently he is actively leading various  working teams within the group on the development of new products related to energy efficiency and decarbonization of the current international fleet.
