Mr. Ulstein is a Partner at Maritime Asset Partners (“MAP”), having been with the company since its launch in 2017. His responsibilities include transaction origination, execution, capital sourcing and business development. Since joining MAP, Mr. Ulstein has concluded more than 40 transactions in shipping and offshore with total volume in excess of $1BN. The majority of transactions concluded at MAP have been sale and leasebacks, senior secured loans and holdco loans.

Prior to joining MAP, Mr. Ulstein worked at CIT in the maritime finance team. Mr. Ulstein began his career as an investment banker at Jefferies (New York). 

Mr. Ulstein has a B.Sc degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at University of Virginia.
