Vangelis Vergetis, PhD Co-founder, Inteligencia Inc Vangelis has been working in the intersection of data science, technology, and healthcare for more than 15 years - as a company founder, operator, consultant, and investor. He is the co-founder of Intelligencia, a US-based company with significant presence in Greece. Prior to that he was a consultant at McKinsey and at Hakluyt, focusing primarily on the biopharmaceutical industry. He has worked on multiple topics within biopharma, including commercial strategy and execution, product launch, M&A, post-merger integration, clinical development strategy, and digital health initiatives. Outside of his executive role, Vangelis is an advisor to healthtech companies and founders, serves on the board of an investment vehicle focusing on healthtech, is a board member and member of the Executive Committee of the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare (AAIH), and is a former member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for Cornell’s Bowers College of Computing & Information Science (CIS). He received a B.S. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
