Lu Xusheng, a graduate of Peking University in 2009, joined China COSCO Shipping Group in 2011 and currently serves as the General Manager of COSCO Shipping Smart-sailing Marine Solutions Co., Ltd. He specializes in the innovative application of next-generation information technology in the maritime industry, focusing on areas such as green and low-carbon initiatives, navigational safety, and smart supply chain solutions, providing digitized services for ships. Mr. Lu has been awarded the 2nd Prize for Progress in IoT Technology in 2022 and the Excellent Project Award in the 2nd BRICS Industrial Innovation Cooperation Competition. He has also participated in the formulation of national occupational skill standards for blockchain technology personnel and contributed to the Ministry of Science and Technology's national key research and development program, the "Sino-European Transport Network Optimization and Enhancement Technology Research and Application Demonstration" project based on blockchain and IoT technology. Additionally, he has undertaken the construction of the Shipping Data Center project, including the development of the ShipVision series of products, and the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission's "Global Ship (Shipping) Risk Management System based on Blockchain." Mr. Lu is also involved in the development and incubation of the Group's Ship & Cargo Easy project.
