John Duggan is an Executive Director at Oppenheimer & Co., where he provides guidance to that firm's financial advisors on taxable bond, municipal and equity closed-end funds and ETFs and manages a taxable income and total return UMA strategy. Prior to joining Oppenheimer & Co., he performed buyside closed-end fund research at Cohen & Steers, and sellside research in the closed-end fund, ETF and telecom areas at Morgan Stanley.

He received an MBA and MA in journalism from New York University and a BA from Boston College.
