Joseph Harvey, President and Chief Investment Officer, joined the firm in 1992 as a REIT analyst and became a portfolio manager in 1998. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Harvey was a vice president with Robert A. Stanger & Co., where he was an analyst specializing in real estate and related securities for the firm's research and consulting activities.

Mr. Harvey holds a BSE from Princeton University. He is based in New York.
