Steven Pikelny is a fund analyst on the active funds research team for Morningstar. He specializes in fixed income closed-end funds, covering a variety of taxable and tax-exempt fixed-income strategies from BlackRock, Nuveen, PIMCO, Vanguard, MFS, and Western Asset Management.

He joined Morningstar in 2011. Pikelny holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Bard College.
