Bill is a Managing Director in the Private Placements Group and heads the team responsible for the execution of domestic and international private securities. Bill's team is also responsible for institutional investor coverage and development. Bill joined Continental Bank in 1980 and held various commercial lending positions prior to joining Continental Bank's Capital Markets Group in 1986. Bill joined the Private Placements Group in 1989, when it was established as a stand-alone group. He has been responsible for the private placements team's distribution effort since 1995.

In addition to his execution responsibilities, Bill is also responsible for originating, structuring and executing transactions within the financial services sector including the closed end fund space.

Bill earned a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and a MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a General Securities Registered Representative (Series 24, 7 and 63). He and his wife, Susan, reside in Chicago with their daughter, Caroline and son, Charlie.
