Jens joined Shell Marine in 1999 as local technical Manager. Eight years later he took over the global role as Marine Product Application Specialist in Shell Global Solutions. During that time, he was amongst others responsible for the Shell Alexia S4 field trials. Since Sept 2014 he is heading the team of technical experts, delivering technical support to Shell Marine customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
He started his career as Marine Engineer, working onboard of Diesel Engine and Steam Turbine driven General Cargo, Ro/Ro and Container ships.
Jens is holding a degree in Marine Engineering from the Hamburg University of Applied Science.
