Tobias Koenig Managing Partner König & Cie Mr. Koenig has been involved with the shipping business since 1982 when he took an apprenticeship with Hamburg Sud, one of the world's largest ocean transportation providers in Germany. After graduating from University, Mr. Koenig joined Hamburg Sud full time and began his professional career in the liner/feeder business. Over the years Mr. Koenig has been involved in everything from marketing and sales to purchasing and ownership of large containerships around the world. In 1999, Mr. Koenig founded König & Cie, preeminent Hamburg shipping and investment company which has closed 53 close ended real estate and shipping funds. In his careers, Mr. König has been involved with the purchase and management of over 70 ships throughout the world. |
