John Paulson is the president and Portfolio Manager of Paulson & C. Inc. ("Paulson)". Paulson is an SEC-registed investment management company specializing in global merger, event arbitrage and credit strategies with approximately $17 billion of assets under management. The firm was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in New York with offices in London and Hong Kong.

Paulson & Co. has recived numerous awards and accolades over its 20 year history including the Absolute Return's 2013 Awards for Management Firm of the Year, Best Abitrage Fund, and Best Event Driven Fund. Combined with the eight other Absolute Return awards Paulson has won previously, this cements the firm's positon at the top of the awards leaderboard.

Mr. Paulson received his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Busoiness School in 1980. He Graduated fron New York University in 1978. Prior to forming Paulson in 1994, John was a general partner of Gruss Partners and a managing director in mergers and acquisitions at Bear Steamns.

John serves on the Boards of New York University; the Metropolitain Museum of Art; the Central Park Conservancy; the 92nd Street Y; the Conncil on Foreign Relations; the Partnership for New York City and the Dean Advisory Board of the Harvard Business School.
