Christopher Linkas
MD, European Co-head of Credit

Mr. Linkas is Co-Head of the European NPL Business at Fortress and a Managing Director in London where his investment activities include non-performing loan investments in Spain, Italy, Greece, Holland and the United Kingdom, as well as distressed real estate, real assets, and corporates in Western Europe. Prior to moving to London in 2013, Mr. Linkas was based in New York and headed the commercial real estate area of the Credit Funds business at Fortress. Prior to joining Fortress in 2003, Mr. Linkas was a vice president at Goldman Sachs where he spent 5 years originating, securitizing, and syndicating mortgage loans. Prior to joining Goldman, Mr. Linkas worked at AEW Capital Management and RER Financial Group where he focused on real estate underwriting, due diligence, acquisition, and asset management. His work included due diligence on distressed assets for third parties including the FDIC, RTC, and various opportunity funds. Mr. Linkas received a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
