Over the last 13 years Michael Gyure, a senior research analyst with Janney Capital Markets since May 2013, has been a sell-side research analyst helping institutional investors understand highly complex accounting, finance, and tax issues as they pertain to both existing and potential portfolio holdings. Prior to joining the sell side Michael worked over a decade auditing public and private companies for Arthur Andersen (Cleveland, OH and Silicon Valley, CA.). In addition to performing project work for clients on public and private investments proprietary to their request, he also publishes research on various accounting, finance, and tax related themes, as well as individual securities and hosts teaching seminars for internal and external analysts. Mr. Gyure graduated from Miami University, Oxford, OH with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
