An experienced strategist, Sarah has worked in the shipping industry since 2011. As HSSE Manager for Shell Shipping & Maritime, Sarah is responsible for developing and initiating key shipping initiatives throughout Shell and into industry. Sarah is passionate about improving the safety of our seafarers. As an instrumental thought leader, Sarah is Programme Manager for the industry leading safety programme, Together in Safety, which focuses on improving the safety performance of the shipping industry by bringing sectors together to share best practices and learn from each other. Before joining Shell Shipping & Maritime, Sarah worked as a Global Marketing & Communications Manager, having studied Marketing at London School of Marketing. In her spare time, Sarah is a keen athlete regularly running marathons, including the prestigious London Marathon in 2019, at which she achieved her personal best time.
