Stamatios N. Tsantanis
Chief Financial Officer, TOP Ships Inc.
Stamatios N. Tsantanis is the Chief Financial Officer of TOP Ships Inc. and serves on the Company's board of directors since July 2004. During his tenure, Mr. Tsantanis has initiated, managed and executed a number of financial transactions for our Company, such as debt financings and refinancings, equity offerings, sale and leaseback of vessels, corporate ratings, and special projects. Mr. Tsantanis was previously employed by Alpha Finance, a member of the Alpha Bank group, a leading Greek financial institution, from 1999 to 2004. In his capacity as a senior investment banker he participated in a number of equity, debt and convertible securities offerings in Europe and the United States in the transportation sector and shipping in particular. Prior to that, Mr. Tsantanis worked in the operations department of Athlomar Shipping and Trading. Mr. Tsantanis holds a Masters degree in Shipping Trade and Finance from the City University Business School in London, and a Bachelors degree in Shipping Economics from the University of Piraeus.
