Aline Schuiling studied economics at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in monetary and international economics. She has been working for economic research departments at Rabobank, MeesPierson and Fortis Bank and currently works as senior economist at ABN Amro Group Economics.

She is a member of the eurozone team and focuses on the German and Spanish economies and on the eurozone. She regularly publishes about the economies of Germany, Spain and the eurozone and is regularly quoted in the financial press.
