Njål Sævik is CEO of Havila Shipping ASA, a leading provider of offshore services worldwide. Njål is educated as a Captain from Ålesund regional College. From the age of 17 he sailed on different offshore/ supply vessels as AB, Mate and Captain, before he went ashore and became HSE Manager. A year later he became Deputy managing director.

33 years old he became CEO in Havila Shipping ASA. Since 2010 Njål is chairman of the board in the Offshore Service Vessel Group, the largest grouping in the Norwegian Shipowner Association (Norges Rederiforbund). He is chairman of the board and board member in various companies, both family owned and external.
