 John J. Nardi
President New York Shipping Association John J. Nardi is President of the New York Shipping Association. He previously served as the organizations Executive Vice President for two years. He is a veteran of the maritime industry having held several positions within the industry including Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations for Hapag-Lloyd. John serves as the co-chair of the Council on Port Performance in the Port of New York and New Jersey. He is a graduate of the State University of New York Maritime College where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree and earned his Third Mates License. He serves on a number of industry boards including the United States Maritime Alliance. He previously served as Chairman of the Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association, Board of Directors of Consolidated Chassis Management and a working group member of the World Shipping Council.
