Emmanuel Vergetis is currently responsible for Lloyd's Register's Consulting Services in South Europe, including Greece and Cyprus. His work focuses on the implementation of new technologies in shipping, data & digital, fuel saving techniques, RCM and CBM Maintenance Techniques along with Electric and Hybrid projects and Shore Power projects. He is a graduate of National Technical University of Athens and holds a degree of Naval & Mechanical Engineer. He was also academically dedicated in Oil Spill Confrontation both in his thesis but also as a PhD candidate and scientific researcher in European projects.
He has served in various positions in Marine Industry and has also gained extensive experience in engineering, supervision and construction of Electro-Mechanical and Renewable Energy projects. He was the inventor of pv solar products and awarded with US Patents and has constructed renewable projects in several European countries and India.
